Is this the time to jump into the Cape Cod Real Estate Market?

Sales activity in the Cape Cod real estate market has been very brisk this past several weeks.  Well-priced properties are going in multiple offer scenarios, something we haven't seen in a few years!  So if you've been sitting on  the proverbial fence about buying your Cape house, might not be a bad time to jump in.  But don't take our word for it - here's what Warren Buffet had to say recently:

Its like you learn my thoughts! You appear to understand so much approximately this, such as you wrote the e-book in it or something. I feel that you simply could do with a few p.c. to drive the message home a little bit, however other than that, this is excellent blog. A fantastic read. I will certainly be back.

If the glove gets messy, you can wash the glove in cold water with a mild laundry detergent. This article is not about saving tons of money on electrical energy or about transforming normal everyday boring food into gourmet gastronomical delights, it is more about dehydrating food with the inexhaustible energy source of the sun while using a solar sun oven. It can be not only combination of time and power level but also different automatic features like sensor reheat and defrost.

                        Cape Cod Seafood Secrets.........

This month's issue of Cape Cod Magazine has a feature article entitled "40 Secrets of Seafood" which is really terrific!   It's full of fun   information such as the fact that Wellfleet oysters are descendants of transplanted oysters from CT and Chesapeake Bay.  Who knew?   Ever wonder why lobsters, unlike some other New England seafoods, never seem to be "overfished"?  According to the article,  that's because of the inefficiency of lobster traps - only 6% of lobsters who encounter a trap will ever actually be caught.  Plus the current traps are very easy to escape from - it's a wonder we ever get a lobster on the table at all! :)  Perhaps my favorite "fun fact" is the meaning of the word SCROD - I knew that scrod is not actually a type of fish, but loved the way they give to remember that it is a way to describe the catch of the day: Specially Caught Right Off the Dock!   The article also has tips from local chefs such as the two things people do wrong when making a Newburg sauce or the key to making perfect oyster stew.  Be sure to pick up the magazine to find out for yourself how Yuji Wantanabe, chef/owner of Inaho, chooses his fish! :)

You might recall around this time last year, I did a video blog  on a new business that opened in the Village - Nancy's Candy, Etc.  (Click on the link in case you missed that one!) Located just west of the Dennis Village post office on Route 6A, Nancy has a new neighbor right next door -  a  gourmet food shop called NORTHSIDE FINE FOODS.  Proprietor Jane Mason says " I truly enjoy perusing through gourmet food shops - wherever I am...and that will reflect in the products you'll find in Northside Fine Foods.  Honey from Savannah, delicate oils from Italy, Black Lava Cashews from Hawaii, exotic dips from an organic farm in Florida."  Here is a video of Jane as she tells you all about her new venture.
